Administrative Fellowship Program
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), a world-renowned Comprehensive Cancer Center located in the heart of Boston's medical area, is seeking applicants for its 2009-2010 Administrative Fellowship Program.
The Administrative Fellowship is a one-year program designed to provide high potential individuals with the opportunity to further develop their leadership style and analytical skills and to gain expertise in such areas as research and clinical care integration, performance improvement, strategic planning, and clinical network development. The Fellowship will begin with a two-month rotation and shadow experience with senior leaders throughout DFCI. After the rotation and for the duration of the Fellowship, the Fellow will lead and participate in high visibility projects based upon individual interests and the Institute's needs. It is expected that the Administrative Fellow will have the opportunity to make significant contributions in diverse areas within DFCI including Finance, Clinical Operations, Planning, Research Administration, Communications, Human Resources, and Information Systems.
The Administrative Fellow reports to the Chief Operating Officer, who will provide valuable mentoring and strategic guidance on project involvement. The Fellow will also have direct access to senior-level management to ensure additional mentorship and performance feedback. The Fellow will receive a competitive salary and benefit package.
