Platelet donors needed to help avert shortage during holidays

Dana-Farber's Kraft Family Blood Donor Center is urgently seeking platelet donations between Dec. 22 and Jan. 5 to help prevent a shortage during the holidays. Platelets are cellular clotting agents that are essential in the treatment of children and adults with various cancers.
