In the Spring/Summer 2005 issue of Turning Point, Hally Lyn Steiner was featured in the "Woman interrupted: Enhancing care for young women with breast cancer" story. At the time, she was travelling from New York to DFCI for treatments for a recurrence of her breast cancer. We are saddened to report that she lost this battle last year. In her memory, Steiner's best friend, BabyDish creator Stacie Mindich-Jordan designed the "Hally Bag" travel cosmetic case. Proceeds from its sale will support continued research into breast cancer at Dana-Farber. The Hally Bag retails for $45 alone, or $99 with baby products included.
