New satellite center in Milford nears completion
Cancer patients in the Milford, Mass., area, 35 miles southwest of Boston, will soon be able to receive state-of-the-art care closer to home. Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center at Milford Regional Medical Center is scheduled for completion in early November, only a year after breaking ground.
The two-story, 54,000 square-foot, light-filled facility — opening Jan. 14, 2008 — will offer medical oncology services, radiation therapy, thoracic surgical consults, diagnostic imaging, and a healing garden to provide a peaceful environment.
