  • Providing expert and compassionate care for individuals and families affected by and predisposed to cancer and related diseases;
  • Integrating systems and coordinating care in prevention, treatment, survivorship, and end-of-life in partnerships across disciplines, modalities, institutions and the community;
  • Fostering a culture of respect, innovation and inquiry through a commitment to education and research; and
  • Creating a healing environment for patients, families, and staff, recognizing the burden of cancer and the fear that it engenders.

In collaboration with its partners in care, Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) and Children's Hospital Boston, the NPCS department leaders assure that standards of care across the continuum are upheld.
