How to Help
The Dana-Farber Department of Pastoral Care is supported by three endowment funds: The Friends of Dana-Farber/Forbes Chapel Fund, The Ray F. Carmichael Chapel Fund, and The Winifred A. Carmichael Chaplaincy Fund. In the past, charitable donations have gone to support the following:
- Staff chaplains (interfaith and/or tradition specific)
- Chaplain interns through the Harvard Divinity School field education program
- Religious texts/sacred scriptures from a variety of religious/spiritual traditions and in a variety of languages
- Rosaries, prayer rugs, yarmulkes, meditation pillows
- Special programming
