Chaplain Intern Program

The DFCI Chaplain Intern Program, which includes an intensive summer session and an academic-year session, is a field education experience accredited through Harvard Divinity School. The goal of the program is to offer theological students the opportunity to learn, explore, and experience hospital chaplaincy.

The academic year program runs from late September to early May. There will be a requirement of group supervision once a week, with the day and time to be determined later. The group may include chaplain interns from Children's Hospital Boston and Brigham and Women's Hospital. There will also be individual supervision throughout the placement.
