For many individuals and families, a diagnosis of cancer (or a related disease) brings the need for information. You may want to know about the illness itself and treatment options; you may want to learn about how your disease can affect your physical and emotional health; or you may be interested in support programs.

The Blum Resource Center and its satellite resource rooms at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Hospital provide comfortable places to learn. Each site offers books, brochures, computers, videotapes, and audiotapes to help you find the information and support you may need.

Part reference library and part lending library, the Blum Resource Center is staffed by professionals and volunteers who are committed to helping you. We want you to have information so you can make informed decisions about your care.
