About David

David B. Perini, Jr. was born April 25, 1964. He was a graduate of Noble and Greenough School and Harvard College, magna cum laude. Combining his love for painting and sculpture, he continued his education at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he looked forward to a career in architecture. Throughout his life, he was full of hope and accomplishment despite three recurrences of cancer, which began after high school graduation.

Along with his great love of sports, in particular basketball and golf, David engaged in a variety of efforts to help others. He volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House and was a Big Brother and a member of Harvard's Advisory Committee. For several years, he was a reading tutor for an elderly man.

David embraced life with tremendous courage. His dedication and love for his friends and family, his kindness, humor, and laughter continue to be a source of inspiration and strength to all.
